I know I remember my first trip to the shore as a youngster around ten or so years ago and its still just as fun every time. For me the best place to visit at the shore is seaside heights (which is also the setting for the show). Seaside offers all of the fun and amenities that you will find at just about any other vacation spot around the country. During the day you have your choice of hanging out on the beach and doing a bit of surfing, or roaming the boardwalk to do a bit of shopping. This doesent include the fact that the food at the shore is some of the best you will find on the East coast, or entire country for that matter.
The night life which was portrayed very well on the show is also amongst some of the best you will find on at a vacation spot. I know for me personally the only place that I would rather be besides Jersey is Las Vegas, and no one is competing with them. The most famous night club in seaside which was often visited by the jersey shore guidos is Bamboo, which is huge and usually stays hoppin until the early morning.
If you have had enough of the traditional club and beach scene at seaside the drive to Atlantic City is not that far off and offers an entirely different type of vacation with new night clubs, and everyones favorite sin, gambling. In all, the best thing about the shore is the fact that you can go back over and over again and it never gets old. Their is always something new to keep you busy and a great time is never far away. If you missed the jersey shore on MTV this past year the jersey shore dvd comes on sale February 23rd.

All along the beautiful shore there are a great number of camping areas and I would suggest booking yourself there to enjoy the camping and the shore. If you are just driving then you can take the portable camping chairs also alongside and that will help enjoy some good shore sights.
